I developed an interest in psychology and mental health from a young age. I love what I do! Helping people heal is never just a “job” to me. This is my life's work and I love finding new and better ways to meet my clients' needs.
I specialize in treating adults experiencing the effects of faith-related issues and/or sexual issues. Sex therapy may include addressing sexual shame, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual dysfunction, sexual desire discrepancy/libido differences, and sexual trauma. I am affirming of queer, non-monogamous, and kinky clients. Faith/religious issues may include faith transitions, mixed-faith marriages, excessive guilt, OCD tendencies, and limiting core beliefs. I am affirming of clients' personal values related to their faith, wherever they are on the spectrum of belief. Whatever you are currently facing, I want to welcome you into a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can explore and progress.
I provide a secular approach and am skilled in utilizing EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT, ERP, Mind-Body Bridging, and Mindfulness. The type of therapy people need in order to heal is as individual as they are. We can work together to find which methods are right for you.
I am a white, cisgender, bisexual, post-LDS, secular woman. I was born and raised in Utah and have 3 sisters, who I am very close to. I have a spouse and 2 dogs who I adore. I love to spend time with family and friends, travel, and enjoy the beauty of Utah through biking, hiking, and skiing.

Hi, I'm Erik! CSW (he/him)
I work with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns, but I have a particular passion for supporting folks navigating relationship challenges—whether that’s their relationship with themselves, with family, with a romantic partner, or within polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous dynamics. I also hold space for clients exploring sexuality, identity development, and the intersections of religion, spirituality, and faith transitions. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment for all identities.
In addition to relational work, I also support individuals navigating symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which means I listen deeply to help clients explore both conscious and unconscious thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may be impacting their current well-being. Through a relational lens, I focus on how early and present relationships shape our sense of self and how the therapeutic relationship itself can be used as a space for insight and growth.
I also integrate tools from CBT, ACT, and narrative therapy to meet clients where they are and tailor the process to their unique needs. As a bilingual therapist, I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, and I’m committed to culturally responsive care. I deeply value the richness of clients’ cultural identities and lived experiences, especially for those navigating bicultural or multicultural spaces. At the end of the day, therapy is about you.
